“Spring” has arrived, Austin - and this weekend is stacked. We're talking a free 🦞🦞crawfish boil with live music and vintage shopping, an outdoor witches market in South Austin, the city's first-ever hot dog safari, a line dance night at Waterloo Park, and plenty of outdoor activities to make the most of the perfect weather. No excuse to stay home.

Some Fun Events:
📅 Saturday, March 28 | ⏰ 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM | 📍 Volstead + Hotel Vegas, East 6th | 💰 Free
Free crawfish. Live jazzy bossanova music. Line dancing. A DJ set by Ed West. A vintage market. This is the kind of afternoon that makes you remember why you live here. Show up early, stay late, and bring a friend who's been complaining there's nothing to do.
📅 Sunday, March 29 | ⏰ 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM | 📍 The Far Out Lounge, South Austin | 💰 Free
Crystals, candles, tarot, and all the good vibes — the Austin Witches Market is back at The Far Out Lounge for an all-outdoor, all-ages afternoon. Whether you're a true believer or just curious, it's a great excuse to spend a Sunday afternoon in South Austin.
📅 Saturday, March 28 | ⏰ 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM | 📍 Various locations, Austin | 💰 TBD
Austin's first-ever hot dog safari is exactly what it sounds like — and we're here for it. Hit multiple spots across the city and find out who's doing the most with a frank. Weird, fun, and very Austin. Follow @whenwherewhataustin for the full map.

Austin Spotlight:
Muleshoe Bend
Wildflowers be poppin’. Muleshoe bend (or surrounding parks along the Colorado River) 30min west of Austin, has probably the best bluebonnet fields in the state….for, like, 3 weeks every year in late march/early april. Worth the drive.

March Sadness
The Horns played a great few games, but sadly lost last night in the final seconds to Purdue: 77-79. Time to back UH?
Regardless, here is a link to our post from last week, offering solid places to watch the games.
Add to that list: HEB BBQ on Lake Austin BLVD - plenty of screens + a full bar….and you can grab groceries!

True Texas BBQ at HEB on Lake Austin Blvd
